The Vollrath Co. has named Fred Fritchen its director of national accounts, placing him in charge of the company's strategic sales team and oversight of its national account strategy. The appointment was announced in a company release.
The company said Fritchen brings extensive experience in the foodservice industry to the position. His background also covers building customer partnerships, leading strategic growth initiatives and helping organizations create value for major national account customers and channel partners.
In the new role, Fritchen will focus on strengthening key customer relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and aligning strategic sales efforts with the needs of Vollrath's customers.
"Fred brings a strong combination of foodservice experience, strategic account leadership and a proven ability to build lasting customer relationships," Larry Deutsch, senior director of sales, said in the release announcing the appointment. Deutsch said Fritchen's experience and leadership would be valuable as the company continues strengthening its strategic customer partnerships and identifying opportunities for growth.
Vollrath also noted that Andrew Cronau, who participated in FER's How To Spec Live in September, recently joined the manufacturer.
The announcement did not specify a start date for the appointment, and it did not name the accounts the new director will handle.
